Mechora Construction can engage on new builds as a full-scope contractor or as a trade package provider — depending on how the project is structured and what the owner requires.

New construction involves multiple disciplines working from the same set of drawings. Mechora coordinates with the design team and other trades — or manages the full build when engaged as the primary contractor.
We build to the approved drawings. Mechora does not provide architectural or structural engineering services — we coordinate with the design team's documents and resolve field issues through the appropriate channel.
Foundation, framing and structural work proceeds first. Mechora sequences mechanical and plumbing rough-in against the structural schedule — coordination happens on-site, not after the fact.
Mechora Mechanical and Mechora Services handle HVAC, hydronic, DWV and supply as internal scopes — not subcontracted out. The mechanical drawings and the plumbing drawings are coordinated inside the same company.
Electrical, drywall, flooring and finishing follow mechanical rough-in. Mechora coordinates access and sequencing so trades do not conflict or undo completed work.

Both. Mechora can provide the full construction scope on a new build, or engage on specific trade packages — mechanical, plumbing or construction management — within a project that has a separate general contractor or owner-managed delivery. Confirm the arrangement at enquiry.
Yes. New construction typically involves a design team — architect, structural engineer, and sometimes a mechanical engineer. Mechora coordinates with these consultants and builds to the approved drawings. We do not provide architectural or structural engineering services.
A mechanical package covers HVAC (heating, cooling and ventilation), hydronic heating systems where applicable, and all associated ductwork, piping and equipment. The scope is confirmed at estimate and is built to the mechanical drawings issued by the design team.
New construction is priced from drawings and specifications — not from a brief description. We provide a written estimate after reviewing the design documents. Contact us with your project scope and drawings when available to start the estimate process.
Building permits for new construction are typically obtained by the owner or the project architect. Mechora coordinates on trade permits (plumbing, mechanical) that fall within our scope. Confirm permit responsibility at enquiry.
Mechora Group holds the relevant licences and insurance for new construction work in Ontario — commercial and residential. Certificates of insurance are available on request.
