How we handle commercial installations

Scope Review

Commercial installations — common questions

Plumbing rough-in is the installation of supply and drain pipes within walls, floors and ceilings before finishes are applied. It establishes the location of all future fixtures and connects them to the building's main supply and waste systems. Rough-in must be completed and inspected before drywall, concrete or flooring proceeds.
We work directly with general contractors to coordinate plumbing scope within the overall construction schedule. We attend site meetings when required, provide drawings of our scope, and coordinate inspections with the GC's timeline. Clear communication is a priority — we respond to RFIs and schedule changes promptly.
Yes. Commercial plumbing installations require permits in Ontario. We obtain the required plumbing permits, coordinate inspections with the local authority having jurisdiction, and ensure all work meets the Ontario Plumbing Code.
We work with a range of commercial fixture manufacturers and can supply and install commercial-grade fixtures to meet your project specifications. We can also coordinate with owner-supplied fixtures specified by your design team.
Duration depends on the scope, building size and project complexity. A single commercial washroom rough-in may take one to two days; a full commercial kitchen or multi-floor office build-out may take several weeks. We provide a timeline as part of our proposal so you can plan around it.
