planned around
your business.

Office renovations, retail fitouts, restaurant renovation and commercial space upgrades — Mechora Construction manages the full scope across Ontario, coordinating trades and keeping your business in mind.

Project types

Commercial renovation scope

Mechora Construction handles a range of commercial renovation projects — from full office reconfigurations to cosmetic refreshes of retail space.

Office Renovation

Reconfigure office space — partition walls, finishes, washrooms, kitchenettes and mechanical coordination. Open-plan to enclosed offices and everything between.

Retail Renovation

Retail space renovation — display areas, flooring, lighting, plumbing and HVAC coordination. Built to your retail concept and operational schedule.

Restaurant Renovation

Restaurant fit-out and renovation — kitchen, dining area, washrooms, grease system coordination. Full scope or phased, depending on your operational requirements.

Industrial Space Upgrades

Warehouse and industrial space improvements — mezzanines, utility upgrades, washroom additions and facility improvements to support operational growth.

Commercial Space Refresh

Cosmetic renovation — flooring, painting, fixtures, lighting, minimal structural changes. Suitable for lease renewals, rebranding and space transitions.

The advantage

One contractor across construction, mechanical and plumbing

Commercial renovations often stall when general contractors need to coordinate separate mechanical and plumbing subs. With Mechora, those disciplines are internal — same company, same schedule, same point of contact.

Trades Coordination Internal

HVAC, hydronic and plumbing trades are part of Mechora — not subcontracted externally. Your schedule doesn't depend on a separate company's availability.

Business Disruption Minimized

We plan renovation phases around your business operations — after-hours work, weekend scheduling and phased completion where your business needs to remain open.

Documentation for Lease & Insurance

Written scope, written estimates, and documented sign-off — the paperwork you need for landlord approval, insurance records and lease compliance.

How it works

Commercial renovation process

Every commercial renovation project follows this process — from initial scope discussion through to formal sign-off and completion documentation.

1
Scope Discussion

Tell us what you need renovated and when. We confirm what's in scope, ask about business continuity requirements and set up a site visit.

2
Site Assessment

We assess existing conditions, review drawings if available, and confirm permit requirements before writing the estimate.

3
Written Estimate

A written estimate covering the full scope — construction, mechanical and plumbing — with a clear breakdown and proposed schedule.

4
Construction

Work proceeds per the agreed schedule. Mechora manages all trades on site, including internal mechanical and plumbing coordination.

5
Completion & Sign-Off

Final walkthrough, deficiency list if required, and documented completion. Paperwork available for landlord and insurance records.

All commercial renovation projects receive a written estimate after a site assessment and scope confirmation. We do not provide binding quotes without reviewing the drawings and visiting the site.
