Design coordination, demolition, framing, plumbing rough-in, electrical coordination, cabinet installation, countertop, flooring and finishes. Mechora handles the plumbing and mechanical internally.
Full bath gut and rebuild — tile, fixtures, plumbing, vanity, shower or bathtub replacement, ventilation and finishes. We coordinate plumbing and construction under one scope.
Convert unfinished basement to livable space — framing, insulation, drywall, flooring, lighting and bathroom rough-in. We handle mechanical coordination and drainage as part of the scope.
Single-storey additions — structural work, building envelope, mechanical rough-in and interior finishing. Permit coordination and design coordination handled at scoping.
Staged full-home renovation — coordinated across all trades and sequenced to minimize disruption. Kitchen, bathrooms, basement and living areas planned as a single phased project with one written scope.
Mechora coordinates plumbing and mechanical as part of residential renovation — no separate plumbing contractor to schedule. Your kitchen and bathroom work includes rough-in plumbing, fixture installation and drain coordination under the same estimate and the same site team.
Construction, plumbing and mechanical are delivered under a single written scope. Changes are handled with written change orders. At the end of the project, a formal walkthrough and sign-off confirms everything was completed to the agreed scope.

We visit your home to assess existing conditions, confirm what the renovation involves and identify permit requirements before writing the estimate.
A written estimate covering the full agreed scope — construction, plumbing and mechanical — with a clear timeline and material specifications.
Work proceeds per the agreed schedule. Mechora manages all trades on site and communicates progress throughout the project.
Final walkthrough with the homeowner, deficiency resolution if required, and formal sign-off confirming the scope was completed as agreed.
Residential Renovation FAQ
A kitchen renovation typically takes three to six weeks depending on scope — demolition, rough-ins, cabinetry lead time and finishing all affect the timeline. We confirm a realistic schedule in the written estimate after the site visit.
Not always — this depends on the scope and which systems are being replaced. We discuss livability requirements at scoping and plan accordingly. For kitchen and bathroom work, temporary facilities may be needed for part of the project.
Yes — Mechora handles construction and plumbing under the same contract. There is no separate plumbing contractor to schedule or coordinate. HVAC rough-in and coordination is also internal to the Mechora team.
Our written estimate covers the full scope agreed at the site visit — demolition, rough-ins, finishes, fixtures and all coordinated trades. Changes to scope after sign-off are handled with a written change order so there are no surprises at billing.
We work with your designer's specifications or from your own material selections. We can also connect you with designers we work with regularly. Supply of materials by the homeowner is confirmed at scoping — it affects the estimate and the schedule.
